Packard Twin Six is pleased to offer the following services:

• Carrier Bearing Rubber Joint Rebuild Service -

We have completed our tooling and now have the ability to re vulcanize the rubber carrier bearing pieces on Packard cars.  This service has been difficult at best to get done and usually results in something that is not up to par.  We decieded that it could be done like the original factory units, so we developed the tooling and have run our first units with great satisfaction.  Packards from 1932 use this joint and later units used a single piece drive shaft that did not require the carrier bearing.  If you have a carrier bearing that is in need of new rubber, inquire with us about having the unit rebuilt.

• Water Pump Rebuild Service –

Packard Twin Six now offers the service of building existing water pumps to new standards.  This service includes refitting a new shaft, bearings, and seals to your existing water pump.  We also install new polished water pump packing nuts, with one difference; we eliminate the need for water pump packing.  These water pumps are sealed units that do not require maintenance.  Call or e-mail us for details and pricing information.

• Custom Hardware Service –

Do you have a need for something special or want to modify one of our existing parts but do not have the proper tools to do the job, just let us know what it is you need.  We can customize existing parts, or build new parts from older versions.  If we can’t do it, we might know someone that can or already does.  Call or e-mail with questions, prints, or requests and we will be happy to try and accommodate your needs.
